Is there any coastal region in Sydney that’s quite as well-known as Bondi Beach? Personally we don’t think so – and if you’re a visitor or a resident, then we have no doubt that you’ll enjoy much more than the yellow sands and the stunning sights. For instance, if you’re interested in undergoing a professional therapy courtesy of one of the local beauty or hair salons, then Bondi will certainly live up to your expectations.
There’s a commercial area located along the Campbell Parade; a street that’s bustling with fashionable outlets, cafés and beauty salons. The great thing about the parade is that it’s open all year around, meaning that whether you’re in need of a quick facial in the winter, or a bikini wax in time for summer – you’ll be able to enjoy a therapy whenever suits you.
Getting around Bondi Beach
As we’re on the subject of bikini waxes, did you know that the beach now has restrictions on the size of your underwear? It’s ridiculous if you ask us – but there’s now no better excuse to enjoy a quick waxing session. If you don’t drive then you’ll be pleased to hear that the region boasts a frequent bus service and there are several taxi services to choose from along the Bondi Pavilion.
If you’re feeling really daring, you could always book yourself into a signature hair colouring treatment from one of the local centres. Bondi blue is actually a colour and there was a time when visitors would have their hair dyed in the blue-green hue to mark their visit. If that isn’t your cup of tea, then maybe a trip to a local beauty salon might be more up your street.
Most are open for walk in appointments, but if you want to be sure just take a look at the salons that we feature right here on Sydney’s 10 Best. We’re sure that you’ll find one that will be able to take care of your requirements!
